  • 2 cups basmati rice

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry onions until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  5. Whisk yogurt and cream together and add this mixture to the pan. Cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Boil rice with 2 cups water and salt.
  7. Place half of the rice in a deep dish, add the chicken mixture, and cover with the remaining rice.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
