Wassup y’all! Today we bout to talk ’bout some dank pancakes! Who don’t love pancakes, am I right? So, I found this recipe on the internet and I was like “ohhhhh damn, these look like they’ll hit the spot.”

Martha Stewart’s Best Buttermilk Pancakes

stack of delicious pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 cups buttermilk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, beat together the eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Mix the dry and wet ingredients together until just blended. Do not overmix, as this will result in tough pancakes.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Using a 1/4-cup measure, pour the batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
  5. Cook the pancakes until you see bubbles forming on the surface, about 3-4 minutes. Flip the pancake and cook until it is golden brown on both sides.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite toppings! Maple syrup is always a classic choice, but you can also try fresh fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate chips.
