Broken Wheat Veggie Pancake

– 1 cup of Broken Wheat (Dalia)
– 1/4th cup of Semolina (Sooji)
– 1 cup of Curd
– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 1 small tomato, finely chopped
– 2 tbsp of Carrot, finely chopped
– 2 tbsp of Capsicum, finely chopped
– 2 tbsp of Coriander, finely chopped
– Salt to taste
– 1 tsp of Red chilli powder
– 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder
– 1 tsp of Fruit Salt or Baking Soda
– Some oil for cooking


1. Grind the Broken Wheat (Dalia) in a mixer to make a fine powder. Mix this powder with Semolina (Sooji) in a bowl.

2. Add Curd to the bowl and mix well to form a thick batter. Leave it aside for 15-20 minutes.

3. Now add chopped onions, tomatoes, carrots, capsicum, coriander, salt, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder to the batter.

4. Mix well to form a pancake batter of thick consistency. Add fruit salt or baking soda and mix well.

5. Heat a non-stick pan, grease it with some oil, and pour a ladleful of the batter on it. Spread it gently to form a round shape and cook on medium flame.

6. Flip the pancake and cook from the other side until it turns brown.

– 1/2 tsp of Black Pepper Powder
– 1/2 tsp of Garlic Powder
– 2 eggs, lightly beaten


1. Mix grated sweet potato and carrot in a large mixing bowl.

2. Add gluten-free flour, salt, black pepper powder and garlic powder to the mixing bowl.

3. Add almond flour and eggs to the mixing bowl and mix everything well.

4. Heat a non-stick pan with avocado oil over medium-high flame.

5. Once the pan is hot, drop the vegetable mixture onto the pan with a spoon to form a small pancake about 3 inches in diameter.

6. Cook the pancakes for a few minutes until the edges brown then flip and cook for another few minutes until the other side browns.

7. Continue until all the pancakes are ready.
