Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in mashed bananas and vanilla extract. Combine well.
- Add half of the flour mixture into the banana mixture and stir until incorporated. Add the other half and do the same again.
- Stir in sour cream until fully incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until the toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the bread for 5 minutes before removing it from the pan. Slice and serve.
