Brewer's Best Coffee Porter Extract Homebrew Recipe Kit - 5 Gallon/19

Ingredients:

  • 6.6lb Golden light LME
  • 1lb Caramel 120L
  • 8oz Chocolate Malt
  • 8oz Roasted Barley
  • 1lb Lactose
  • 1oz Centennial (60 min)
  • 1oz Cascade (15 min)
  • 1oz Cascade (0 min)
  • 2oz Coffee Beans (Secondary)
  • 11.5g US-05

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, bring 2.5 gallons of water to a boil. Remove from heat and steep grains for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove grains and bring to a rolling boil. Add LME and Centennial hops and boil for 45 minutes before adding Cascade hops and Lactose.
  3. After 55 minutes, remove from heat and transfer to primary fermenter. Top off with cold water to make 5 gallons.
  4. Once the wort reaches 70°F, pitch the US-05.
  5. Ferment for 2 weeks, then transfer to secondary fermenter and add coffee beans. Allow fermentation for another week.
  6. Bottle or keg after 7-10 days.

  • 4oz Chocolate Malt
  • 4oz Roasted Barley

  • 1lb Light DME
  • 1lb Dark DME
  • 1oz Northern Brewer (60 min)
  • 1oz Cascade (5 min)
  • 1tbs. Cinnamon
  • 1tbs. Nutmeg
  • 2oz Coffee Beans (Secondary)
  • Safale US-05

Instructions:

  1. Steep grains in a mesh bag in 3 gallons of water at 155°F for 30 minutes.
  2. Add Pumpkin Puree and bring to a boil.
  3. Add DME and Northern Brewer hops and boil for 60 minutes.
  4. During the last 5 minutes of the boil, add Cascade hops, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Chill wort to 70°F and pitch US-05. Let it ferment for 5-7 days.
  6. Transfer to secondary fermenter with coffee beans and let it ferment for another week before bottling or kegging.

  1. Steep grains at 150°F for 30 minutes in 2 gallons of water.
  2. Add malt extract and Fuggle hops and boil for 60 minutes.
  3. After 55 minutes, add Willamette hops, vanilla beans, and turn off heat.
  4. Cool wort to 70°F, pitch US-04, and ferment for 2-3 weeks.
  5. Transfer to secondary fermenter with coffee beans and let it sit for another week.
  6. Bottle or keg and enjoy!
