Iced Horchata Coffee

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 4 cups warm water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine the rice, warm water and cinnamon stick. Pulse until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth into a pitcher or large jar.
  3. Stir in the milk, sugar and coffee until well combined.
  4. Serve the iced drink over ice.
