Today, I am excited to share with you a new food trend that has been taking the world by storm – Pulled Oats! This meatless meat alternative from Finland has been gaining popularity with vegans and non-vegans alike, and I can definitely see why.

I came across this delicious recipe for Pulled Oats on the VegHog blog, and it instantly caught my attention. The dish looked so flavorful and hearty that I knew I just had to try it out for myself.

To begin with, you will need the following ingredients:

– 1 package of Pulled Oats
– 2 onions, diced
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 bell pepper, diced
– 1 can of chopped tomatoes
– 1 tbsp of tomato paste
– 1 tbsp of smoked paprika
– 1 tbsp of cumin
– Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. In a large pan, sauté the onions and garlic until golden brown.
3. Add in the diced bell pepper and continue to sauté until softened.
4. Add in the Pulled Oats and cook for a couple of minutes until heated through.
5. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, smoked paprika, and cumin. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
7. Once done, remove from the oven and serve hot.

I decided to take my Pulled Oats dish up a notch by turning it into delicious patties with sun-dried tomatoes, using this recipe I found on Cashew Kitchen:

Ingredients:

– 1 package of Pulled Oats
– 1 onion, finely chopped
– 2 garlic cloves, minced

– 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
– 1/4 cup of almond flour
– 1/4 cup of oat flour
