Japanese pancakes are a delicious treat that have been gaining popularity all over the world. These light, fluffy pancakes are made using a unique technique that is quite different from traditional pancake making. In today’s post, we will be sharing with you two different Japanese pancake recipes that you can make at home.

First up, we have the Fluffy Japanese Pancakes, also known as Souffle Pancakes. These pancakes are unique in that they are much thicker and fluffier than your traditional pancakes. To make these pancakes, you will need the following ingredients:

– 2 egg yolks
– 1/4 cup of milk
– 1/2 cup of cake flour
– 1 tsp of baking powder
– 2 egg whites
– 1/4 cup of sugar
– 1/4 tsp of cream of tartar

Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together egg yolks and milk until well combined.
2. Sift in cake flour and baking powder, whisk until smooth.
3. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar and sugar until stiff peaks form.
4. Gently fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mixture.
5. In a non-stick pan over medium heat, add the pancake batter into a piping bag or plastic bag with the corner snipped off.
6. Using the bag, pipe the pancake batter into three-inch rounds.
7. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for around three minutes or until the bottom of the pancake is golden brown.
8. Flip the pancake and cook for another two minutes before serving.
