Let me tell y’all about this Brown Sugar Apple Pie I made the other day. It was straight fire, y’all. I found the recipe online and knew I had to give it a try. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. So I’m gonna break it down for y’all and show you how to make it.

Brown Sugar Apple Pie

Brown Sugar Apple Pie

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 6 cups thinly sliced, peeled baking apples (about 2 1/2 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Place pie crust in 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In large bowl, toss together apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt until apples are evenly coated. Spoon apple mixture into pie crust, making sure it’s evenly distributed.
  4. Cut butter into small pieces and scatter over the top of the apple mixture.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  6. Allow pie to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Now, if you’re anything like me, one image of a delicious pie just isn’t enough. So I found another picture of this Brown Sugar Apple Pie that I just had to share with y’all.
